Welcome to Valley View Family Farm! Don, Shelly, Alyssa, & Brooke welcome you to our family farm. We raise registered fullblood, percentage Boer Goats, and show wethers for 4H and FFA.  As active members of the American Boer Goat Association, our local 4H, and the Illinois Meat Goat Producers we raise our herd for meat, muscle, and production. Our farm provides animals with style, balance, and breed characteristics with show records to prove it. Herd pedigrees include, Collateral Damage, CODI-PCI, Downen, DSM, Eggs, Powell/Holman, Renoir, ROK Excalibur, Ryals, and many other ennoblements.    V V F F Mya - Sedalia, MO April 2008   Fairfield, IL May 2008   V V F F Mya The first of our Thunderstruck kids have hit the showring!  Mya was 1st in her class of 16 & Jr. Reserve Champion at Sedalia, MO - April 2008! Like father, like daughter... DGBG Thunderstruck placed 1st & was the Yearly Reserve Champion! The May 2008 Fairfield, IL show was a big hit for us!    Our fall 2007-2008 kid crop are sired by DHFG Sarge, DGBG Thunderstruck, AABG NBD FastTrack, and CBGR Wildwood *Ennobled*. All of these sires have tremendous show records and outstanding genetics that we are proud to incorporate into our herd and offer to other breeders who are looking to improve their herd. We will be offering a few select Thunderstuck offspring for sale this show season.  Our daughter, Alyssa was awarded the 2007 IL State Fair Jr show Grand Champion Buck, Reserve Champion Jr Percentage Doe, & Full Blood Premiere Exhibitor Award and 2nd place open show wether!!! Alyssa was also awarded the 2007 Stark County 4H Fair Grand Champion Doe, Reserve Champion Doe, 1st place wether, and Showmanship award!!!   You will find Valley View Family Farm in Toulon, Illinois. Toulon is located in Stark County, which is within an hour from Peoria, Galesburg, and the Quad Cities. Everyone has a story as to how they started. Ours goes like this...We began with one percentage doe to be used as a 4H project for our oldest daughter. More goats were soon to follow. This little 4H project led to enjoyment by our entire family. Each of the goats on our farm receive daily handling from our young "goat whisperers"! We continue to experience fun and success at many shows. We have made great friendships with numerous breeders from Illinois and surrounding states. If you find yourself in the Stark County area feel free to visit. Visitors are always welcome.
